We can also advise you on how to manage your hardcopy records so that you can find everything you need to, when you need to.
If we are doing all (or sometimes, a significant proportion) of your bookkeeping from hard-copy documents, we will automatically keep these records in good order.
Implementing New Accounting Software
Choosing and implementing new accounting software can be a daunting task. How will you know what is right for you and your business? At Figurate Ltd, we can help you to choose the right software for you. Once the choice is made, we can also set it up for you.
We have worked with Sage, MYOB, MS Office Accounting, Tas and Quickbooks. We have also used other systems at the clients request or because we’ve found the perfect software for that client. We are independent and so we are not tied to recommending any one package. In addition, we can also advise you on how to manage your hard-copy records so that you can cross-reference it to your accounts software and find everything you need to, when you need to.
Changing Accounting Software – Data Conversion
In an ideal world, you would never have to change your accounting software. Unfortunately, circumstances often dictate otherwise and sometimes you have to make a switch. Changing from one accounts package to another means converting your old data to your new system. This can be tricky and tedious and it is easy to go wrong. Manual and Semi-Manual Systems
Often, small businesses and organisations don’t need accounting software. In these instances, an Excel spreadsheet or even just orderly filing might be all that’s required. (Clients that only need a simple Excel spreadsheet to manage their accounts will be provided with a template that they can use, free of charge)
